1. What do your waterfowl and big game hunts with lodging in MD, WV, VA & DE  include?
Lodging in our log cabin with Big Screen TV, Full Kitchen, Game Cleaning Facility, carcass disposal, game cleaning station, warm wood stove and more.

2. How are your Deer hunts in Maryland conducted?
These hunts are semi-guided. You will be shown property lines, the general movements of the herd and then left to your own skills to hunt in your tree stand. The less scent in the woods the better. Some permanent stands will be provided or ground blinds when feasible. You may use your own climber stand if you wish as well.
Hunts are in woodland in Maryland for whitetails and marshland for Sika Deer. Waders and a thermacell may be needed.

3. Are your Turkey hunts guided?
Our turkey hunts are guided and semi-guided, depending on your needs. All hunts require full camo necessary for turkey hunting. No red, white, blue or black clothing allowed by law.
You may call the birds in yourself or the guide will do it for you, whichever you prefer. This is a fully guided hunt with 2 hunters per guide. Hunts start on Aril 18th in Md. and April 10th in Va. and De approx. A special turkey hunter safety course is required before hunting in Delaware.

4. What are your duck hunts like?.
We hunt ducks in Fields, Saltwater  and Freshwater Ponds and lakes, Impoundments, Rivers and Bays, Cypress Swamps, and Flooded Oak Forests. We provide guided hunts and semi-guided hunts, depending on the hunters experience and needs of the group.

5. How do you conduct your Canada and snow goose and Swan hunts?
We hunt Maryland ( Eastern Shore and far western Maryland ), Delaware ( Delmarva ), New York, West Virginia, & Virginia Delmarva & Mainland  –   Fully & Semi-Guided Hunt – 75,000 Private Acres The fields are dry and we use layout blinds or temporary blinds in ditches or fields.
Season starts Sept. 1st in most states and usually end March 31st in Upstate NY. Most goose hunts are in fields. Some are on Cayuga Lake area in the Finger Lakes.  We conduct swan hunts in VA & DE when possible.

6. Do you hunt Canada Geese?
Yes, we take guests on fully guided hunts in the Resident season and the late season. The season runs from approximately Sept. 1 to March 10th. Limits range from 1-15 birds depending on the state and season. In some cases, the use of  unplugged guns and electronic callers is allowed. We hunt in Maryland , West Virginia, New York, Delaware, North Carolina & Virginia . Canada goose limit is FIVE a day in western Maryland, Pennsylna

 

vania and West Virginia during the season.

7. Do we hunt free ranging Sika deer.

Yes we do. All hunts at baited stands. No high fence hunts.

8. No guarantee of a harvest of game.

9. No pillows or bed linens provided at bunkhouse to prevent spread of illness

10.No transportation to hunt sites provided

11. Hog hunts in SC free range. No high fence hunts. 

12. Nonrefundable 50% deposit required to book all hunts. Prices subject to change without notice.

Even though every effort is made to harvest game in a hunt, harvest cannot be guaranteed.

When booking your hunt, please keep the following information in mind:

 DELMARVA AND NEW YORK SNOW GOOSE HUNTS.
1. Popular waterfowl field camos and solid white clothing or field corn camo for the hunt is required. Complete covering of the body with solid white not camo white is required. This is to make you look like a snow goose in the decoy rig. Different weather and field conditions determine what we need to wear for the hunt.
2. Cash only for balance due before the hunt can precede. No checks or money orders or credit card for balance due.
3. You may need to have cornfield Camo for entire body instead of white. Please be prepared for either. Face masks are required to hide the face and prevent spread of disease. Face masks are to be in white or camo.
4. Thermos of coffee or snacks is suggested placed in a solid white bag only. Travel light
5. Refer to the state in which the hunt will occur to purchase proper hunting permits.
6. All clients are expected to help with placement and pick up of decoys and necessary gear if needed. If you have to leave early an additional fee of $400 is required for labor to retrieve decoys and store properly. Security Credit Card deposit is required on all hunts.
7. You will probably not know what state the hunt will be conducted in until 6:00pm the day before the hunt. Scouting is done the day before the hunt to provide the best hunt possible. Item 8 not for NY hunters.
8. Please provide an email address for  The Assumption of Risk and Liability form required must be dated before the day of the hunt. Your signature, witness signature and printed name are required and the form has to be filled out completely. Hard copy has to be delivered the morning of the hunt in person.
9. No guests dogs allowed due to potential injury of other dogs and humans and disease transfer to our dogs..
10. There are very limited places to park on farms. Car pooling is necessary always please.
11. Please wear headlamps for decoy placement and your safety.
12. All hunts will be stopped in dangerous or damaging weather conditions.
13. Hunts other than in NY will end by 11am – 12:00 noon. Hunts in NY for half day end at 11:00am.
14. All hunts will be stopped if any game laws are violated. Proper licensing and knowledge of all game laws is the responsibility of the hunter not  the guide or outfitter.

Minimum Requirement for Our Hunts, More days can be added if done in advance:

  1. Duck Hunts – Four Hunters, One Day
  2. Deer Hunts – Two Hunters, Three Days, One Buck or Stag or One Doe, per 3 days.
  3. Snow Goose Hunts – Eight Hunters, One Day
  4. Hog Hunts – Two Hunters, Two Days
  5. Bear Hunts – One Hunter, Three Days
  6. Turkey Hunts – One Hunter, Two Days, One Turkey per state

A 50% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit for dates agreed to verbally or text or email is required to book A hunt. Substitution of hunters is allowed. The balance is due and payable in cash only, no checks and a DOA waiver form is to be completely filled out the day before the hunt at the lodge where the hunt is to originate or at the hotel where the outfitter is staying, before the hunt proceeds.

All stays at the lodge require a credit card security deposit.

All hunters are required to fill out legibly and  completely and sign and witness an Assumption of Risk and Liability before the day of the hunt or the hunt will not be conducted and no refund for the hunt will be given.

Prices do not include ammo, weaponry, licenses or proper hunting attire. We recommend shot size BB or BBB for geese and No. 1 or 2’s for ducks.

All goose and duck hunts are until 11:00 am. or when you shoot your limit, whichever comes first. Big game hunts are all day ans semi guided only.

Sika , Whitetail and Bear  Hunting Rules
1. 2 sika with a 5-day hunt. 1 hind and 1 stag. Shoot a stag first and done. Shoot the Hind first and your hunt continues. If a stag is shot first your hunt is over.
2. 3-day hunt 1 sika stag or hind and done.

3. Draw blood and that’s your animal. An additional $1000 to try again for deer only.
4. No guarantee of a kill.
5. Outfitters or guides cannot provide waders or clothing hunting.
6. No harvesting of animals allowed other than the game you paid for. $1500 – $3000 fine may be assessed if the wrong animal is killed. Payments for fines in cash only. No cash no trophy.
7. Send a picture of the driver’s licenses please of all hunters going.

8. $4000 trophy fee for a cinnamon bear or any bear color phase other than black. Trophy fee to be paid in cash only. Trophy cannot leave the property until fee is paid in full.
